Job summary

Clear Engineering Recruitment is seeking an experienced BMS Service & Commissioning Engineer to join a leading building automation specialist. The role covers planning maintenance, reactive service, fault finding and commissioning across sites in Scotland, with occasional UK-wide travel.

The successful candidate will service and commission BMS platforms, ensure high-quality reports and develop strong customer relationships, with travel across Scotland and beyond as required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience servicing and commissioning BMS systems.
• Knowledge of platforms including Trend, Tridium/Niagara, Siemens, Schneider, ALC or similar.
• Strong fault-finding skills with a good understanding of HVAC controls.
• Electrically competent with the ability to modify existing control strategies.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on BMS systems.
• Attend reactive call-outs, fault finding and system diagnostics.
• Commission and optimise small BMS projects and modifications.
• Produce service reports, site surveys and commissioning documentation.
• Build strong customer relationships and deliver excellent service.
• Travel throughout Scotland with occasional UK-wide travel when required.
