Job summary

Total Control Services Ltd in Tunbridge Wells is seeking an experienced BMS Control Panel Supervisor / Senior Panel Wirer to join our engineering workshop. You will oversee the assembly, wiring, testing, and inspection of control panels and lead a team of technicians in a busy workshop environment.

You will build and wire panels from schematics, install relays and PLCs, perform quality checks, and help drive continuous improvement while ensuring health and safety compliance in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical assembly and panel wiring.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Proven supervisory or team-leading experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a team of technicians in the assembly and wiring of control panels.
• Build and wire BMS control panels from electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Install and wire electrical components including relays, contactors, circuit breakers, and PLCs.
• Carry out quality inspections and checks on completed panels.
• Support testing, fault finding, and validation of control panels.
• Maintain accurate records of wiring layouts, modifications, and test results.
• Allocate workloads and monitor progress to ensure deadlines are achieved.
• Promote continuous improvement and maintain high workshop standards.
• Ensure all activities comply with health and safety procedures.
