Job summary

Honeywell Building Automation is seeking an experienced BMS Service & Commissioning Engineer to join our Scotland team. You will be responsible for commissioning, maintenance, and fault finding across Honeywell BMS platforms at customer sites across Scotland, with travel as required.

• Proven experience servicing and commissioning BMS systems.
• Knowledge of BMS platforms; Tridium/Niagara preferred.
• Experience integrating multiple systems to a common head end.
• Strong fault-finding skills and HVAC controls understanding.
• Electrically competent and able to modify control strategies.

Responsibilities

• Commission and optimise BMS projects across customer sites.
• Produce service reports, site surveys and commissioning documentation.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance with the service team engineers.
• Fault finding and complex system diagnostics on Honeywell BMS systems.

Job description

We have an opportunity for an experienced BMS Service & Commissioning Engineer to join us at Honeywell, in Scotland, where you will be responsible project commissioning, planned maintenance, reactive service and fault finding across Honeywell BMS platforms at our customer sites across Scotland, predominantly Central Belt Scotland. This is a field-based position with travel Scotland wide from time to time.

• Commission and optimise BMS projects and modifications at customer locations
• Produce service reports, site surveys and commissioning documentation
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on BMS systems from time to time with support of the service team engineers
• Fault finding and complex system diagnostics on Honeywell BMS systems
• Build strong customer relationships and deliver excellent service
• Proven experience servicing and commissioning BMS systems
• Knowledge of BMS platforms and ideally Tridium/Niagara experience along with BACnet, Modbus, LON or similar protocols knowledge
• Experience in Integration of multiple systems to each other and to a common head end
• Strong fault-finding skills with a good understanding of HVAC controls
• Electrically competent with the ability to modify existing control strategies
