Job summary

Hunter Selection Ltd is seeking a BMS Engineer to join their expanding team in Manchester. The role focuses on commissioning BMS systems, with routine service and maintenance, and a pathway into more varied duties over time.

Experience with Trend systems is preferred, and candidates should be able to work independently or as part of a team. A degree/HNC/ONC is advantageous, with 25 days holiday plus banks and a car allowance offered.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience in a similar role.
• Experience Servicing & maintenance of BMS systems and/or Commissioning BMS systems.
• Specifically experience and knowledge of Trend systems (preferred)
• Ability to modify BMS strategies
• Be able to work independently and as part of a team
• Degree/HNC/ONC (advantageous)
• 25 days holiday + banks

• Training and progression

Responsibilities

• Commissioning of BMS systems, predominantly Trend systems but could include systems by Freemans, Siemans, etc…
• Routine service and maintenance
• Assist in the training of junior members of staff
• Working on smart controls to manage lighting, refrigeration, plant rooms, and any other specialist equipment
• Fault finding
• Understand the control panel design, manufacture and testing
