Job summary

Hunter Selection is assisting a Northwest client recruiting BMS engineers. The role involves commissioning and servicing Trend-based BMS systems across commercial and industrial sites in the Northwest.

You will perform fault finding, routine servicing, and support the training of junior staff while working on smart controls to manage lighting, refrigeration, plant rooms, and other specialist equipment. Degree or HNC/ONC is advantageous, and the candidate should be able to work independently or

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience in a similar BMS role.
• Experience servicing & maintenance of BMS systems and/or commissioning.
• Knowledge of Trend systems preferred.
• Degree/HNC/ONC advantageous.

BMS engineer - Northwest

£45,000 - £60,000

Due to rapid expansion our client is currently looking for multiple BMS engineers to join their team. The company offers the complete package from initial commissioning followed by routine servicing up to the point of retrofit across new build contracts which can include schools, hospitals and other commercial/industrial environments across the Northwest.

• Commissioning of BMS systems, predominantly Trend systems but could include systems by Freemans, Siemans, etc….
• Routine service and maintenance
• Assist in the training of junior members of staff
• Working on smart controls to manage lighting, refrigeration, plant rooms, and any other specialist equipment
• Fault finding
• Understand the control panel design, manufacture and testing

Requirements

• 2 years experience in a similar role
• Experience Servicing & maintenance of BMS systems and/or Commissioning BMS systems
• Specifically experience and knowledge of Trend systems (preferred)
• Ability to modify BMS strategies
• Be able to work independently and as part of a team
• Degree/HNC/ONC (advantageous)
