Pertemps Heathrow & Hemel Hempstead is seeking an experienced BMS Commissioning Engineer for a London-based commercial project in Acton.

You will commission and deliver Building Management Systems to specification, configure software, test installations and support handover, on a full-time, site-based contract with potential overtime and weekends.

• Proven experience delivering commercial BMS commissioning projects.
• Strong knowledge of Trend, Schneider, Tridium, Johnson Controls Metasys or similar platforms.

Job description

Reporting to a project team, the BMS Commissioning Engineer - London will work on a commercial scheme in Acton, commissioning and delivering Building Management Systems to specification.

This full-time contract runs Monday to Friday, up to ten hours daily, with overtime and weekend work available. The hourly rate is £40 to £44.

Duties include configuring software, testing installations, diagnosing faults and supporting handover. Applicants need at least three years' experience in a comparable commissioning post, plus a track record on commercial projects. Strong technical knowledge of control systems, plus the ability to liaise with clients and colleagues, is essential.

Location: London- North Acton

Rate: £44.00 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday up to 10 hours a day(Overtime and weekends available)

Pertemps is recruiting on behalf of a leading Building Management Systems specialist for an experienced BMS Commissioning Engineer to work on a commercial project in London.

The Role: You'll be responsible for commissioning and delivering Building Management Systems (BMS), ensuring projects are completed safely, on time and to specification. Working closely with project teams and clients, you'll configure software, carry out testing, resolve technical issues and support projects through to final handover.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a BMS Commissioning Engineer.
• Proven experience delivering commercial BMS commissioning projects.
• Strong knowledge of Trend, Schneider, Tridium, Johnson Controls Metasys or similar platforms.
• Excellent understanding of HVAC systems, controls and BMS software.
• Experience working with live electrical and control systems.
• ECS/CSCS Card and SMSTS or SSSTS.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.
