Job summary

Scottish and Southern Energy is seeking a BMS Commissioning Engineer to cover London and the South East. You will commission BMS and control systems, develop software strategies and graphics, and support project teams on site.

The role requires frequent travel with a full driving licence; working pattern is permanent full-time with flexible options. SSE Smart Buildings delivers critical building controls and energy services in a zero-carbon landscape.

Qualifications

• Experience commissioning BMS and Control systems, especially with Siemens PX and Trend IQ4 controls.
• Exceptional communication and reporting skills, to maintain strong relationships with team members and customers.
• Experience crafting your own software strategies and graphics.
• A full driving licence due to frequent travel.

Responsibilities

• Commission the installation of BMS and Control systems as outlined by the Project Manager.
• Craft your own software strategies and graphics engineering.
• Perform physical wiring checks and plant start-ups.
• Provide technical support to other trades and sub-contractors.
• Carry out troubleshooting to diagnose system defects.

The Role

As our Commissioning Engineer you'll play a critical role in delivering key projects to our clients. You will be field based covering London and the South East of England.

You'll deliver some exciting BMS projects, using the latest technologies and developments across multiple sectors, such as commercial offices, healthcare, and more.

• Commission the installation of BMS and Control systems outlined by the Project Manager.
• Compose your own software strategies and graphics engineering.
• Perform physical wiring checks and plant start-ups.
