Job summary

Public Services Delivery Scotland (PSD Scotland) unites NES and NSS to support NHS Scotland. An exciting opportunity exists for an NMC or HCPC registered practitioner to join the SNBTS Transfusion Team, delivering safe, person-centred transfusion practice across Scotland.

The post holder will work with Transfusion Practitioners, Hospital Transfusion Team (HTT) and multidisciplinary colleagues to implement SHOT standards and Infected Blood Inquiry recommendations, with PVG check and driving

Qualifications

• Registered with NMC or HCPC at time of applying.
• Educated to degree level with post-registration transfusion experience preferred.
• Driving licence desirable for site visits.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of safe transfusion practice across NHS Scotland.
• Collaborate with Transfusion Practitioners and HTT to implement SHOT standards and Infected Blood Inquiry recommendations.
• Promote education, training, audits, transfusion incident management, and policy implementation.
