Job summary

GCS in Manchester is seeking an experienced Delivery Lead to coordinate complex IT/data programmes across business units. You will identify blockers, ensure data availability and ownership, and maintain alignment with supplier and stakeholders to keep projects on track.

Responsibilities include governance, reporting to steering groups, and facilitating structured workshops to capture priorities and transition teams to repeatable processes.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering or supporting complex cross-business IT/data programmes.
• Unblocks delivery in resource-constrained environments.
• Works closely with third-party delivery partners.
• Strong experience in business change and process definition.
• Strong financial management.
• Able to operate in environments with ambiguity, incomplete requirements, evolving scope.

Responsibilities

• Actively identify and remove internal blockers impacting delivery: data availability and quality, ownership ambiguity, decision delays.
• Engage internal teams to capture priorities and communicate effectively; facilitate structured workshop sessions.
• Coordinate with supplier to clarify inputs/outputs, deliverables and milestones; hold them accountable for quality and timelines.
• Maintain an integrated delivery view (plan, dependencies, risks, issues, finances) and ensure explicit, testable outputs.
• Provide clear governance reporting to steering groups and boards to support rapid decisions.
