About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Blockchain Solution Architect to join our team, offering a hybrid work model with opportunities based in Randburg, Gauteng, ZA. You will be responsible for designing and architecting bespoke blockchain solutions tailored to meet specific business needs, leveraging your deep understanding of various blockchain platforms, smart contracts, and distributed ledger technologies (DLT). This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong client-facing skills. You will guide clients through the adoption of blockchain, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives. Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect end-to-end blockchain solutions for enterprise clients, considering scalability, security, and performance.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate blockchain platforms and DLT technologies (e.g., Hyperledger Fabric, Ethereum private networks, Corda).
• Define smart contract requirements and collaborate with development teams on their implementation.
• Develop technical roadmaps and implementation plans for blockchain projects.
• Lead technical discussions with clients, understanding their business challenges and translating them into blockchain solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
• Ensure solutions adhere to industry best practices and compliance standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect, with a strong focus on blockchain and DLT.
• In-depth knowledge of various enterprise blockchain platforms (e.g., Hyperledger Fabric, Corda, Quorum) and public blockchains (e.g., Ethereum).
• Understanding of smart contract development principles and use cases.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their integration with blockchain solutions.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of enterprise system architecture, APIs, and integration patterns.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
• Exceptional client-facing and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
