Job summary

Fireblocks is seeking a Backend/Full‑Stack Engineer to design and operate scalable backend services for high‑volume on‑chain transaction flows across multiple blockchain networks (EVM and non‑EVM). You will own APIs end‑to‑end, integrate with DeFi protocols, and collaborate with product and research teams to deliver secure, reliable systems.

You have 7+ years of backend experience, blockchain/Web3 expertise, and strong knowledge of security principles.

Qualifications

Blockchain and Web3 experience is a must.
Experience with multiple blockchain ecosystems (EVM and non‑EVM).
Strong knowledge of security principles in a blockchain context.
Experience designing and operating microservices in production CI/CD environments.

Responsibilities

Design and build robust, scalable backend services for high‑volume on‑chain transactions across multiple networks.
Own end‑to‑end backend components and APIs from architecture decisions to deployment.
Lead integrations with DeFi protocols, on‑chain data sources, and nodes across diverse chains.
Research emerging blockchain technologies to keep Fireblocks at the cutting edge.
Optimize production systems for performance, reliability and security.
Collaborate with product, protocol research, and platform engineering teams.
Drive features from inception through delivery at scale.
