Job summary

Mole Valley Farmers is seeking a reliable Blending Site Operator to support our blending plant operations and deliver high-quality feed products for British agriculture. You will be hands-on, join a team, and work in a fast-paced environment focused on safety and efficiency.

Key duties include operating mill equipment, managing weighbridge tasks, and maintaining records. You’ll work 47 hours per week (Mon-Fri) in a permanent, full-time role with opportunities to develop skills and progress

Qualifications

• Previous experience in production, manufacturing or agricultural environments.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Familiarity with operating machinery or automated systems.
• Understanding of Health & Safety regulations and compliance standards.
• Proactive, reliable, and team-oriented with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operating mill equipment and process systems safely and efficiently.
• Managing weighbridge procedures for intake, out-loading, and quality control.
• Operating bagging and packing systems and maintaining accurate records.
• Monitoring stock levels of raw materials, packaging, and finished products.
• Following medicated feed procedures in line with VMD requirements.
• Supporting compliance audits and reporting incidents promptly.
• Promoting a "clean as you go" approach and maintaining hygiene standards.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to meet production targets.

About The Role

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full‑time

Hours of Work: 47 Hours per week, working Monday to Friday

As a Blending Site Operator, you'll be central to the smooth running of our blending plant operations. From raw material intake to loading finished products, you'll help ensure everything is manufactured safely, efficiently, and in line with company standards. This is a hands‑on role with plenty of variety and opportunities to develop your skills.
