Job summary

Mole Valley Farmers Limited is seeking a hands-on Blending Site Operator to support our blending plant operations and deliver high-quality feed products. This role focuses on safe, efficient production from raw material intake to finished product loading, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have production or agricultural environment experience, a valid UK driving licence, and familiarity with machinery.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, or agricultural environment.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Familiarity with operating machinery or automated systems.
• Understanding of Health & Safety regulations and compliance standards.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A proactive, reliable, and team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Operating mill equipment and process systems safely and efficiently.
• Managing weighbridge procedures for intake, out-loading, and quality control.
• Operating bagging and packing systems and maintaining accurate records.
• Monitoring stock levels of raw materials, packaging, and finished products.
• Following medicated feed procedures in line with VMD requirements.
• Supporting compliance audits and reporting incidents promptly.
• Promoting a “clean as you go” approach and maintaining hygiene standards.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to meet production targets.
