Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in international development, international relations, economics, finance, social science or a related discipline is desirable but not essential.
• Relevant work experience in blended finance projects within an international financial institution or donor organisation; fundraising, product structuring, and/or programme management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with ability to structure complex information for diverse audiences.
• Strong presentation development skills and ability to deliver clear PowerPoint materials for senior management.
• Strong research, analysis and synthesis skills; ability to translate findings into practical outputs.
• Numerical, analytical, data and information visualization skills; MS365 suite is an advantage.
• Interest in using AI-enabled tools responsibly is an advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal and coordination skills; attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; strong organisational abilities.
• Knowledge of Russian, French or Arabic would be useful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support origination, design and development of FI donor funded programmes and implementation following FI PDI methodologies.
• Draft concept papers, fiches, communications and fundraising documents for donor mobilisation.
• Support deployment and implementation throughout project life cycle from contracting funding to execution guidance.
• Provide data-driven insights and maintain donor portfolio data and dashboards.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely data collection, validation and reporting for donor funds.
• Lead or support blended finance facilities like grant review, budgeting, and donor negotiations.
• Prepare donor progress updates and reporting for Steering and Monitoring Committees.
• Monitor deployment of facilities and ensure compliance with donor requirements and guidelines.
• Assist with donor evaluations, audits and related documentation.
• Participate in Bank-wide FI PDI initiatives and knowledge-sharing across teams.
