The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is seeking an Intern for its Financial Institutions group. You will contribute to all phases of the project cycle, including origination, structuring, execution and monitoring, in the Western Balkans and Eastern Europe region.

Under supervision of senior bankers, you will support due diligence, financial modelling and reporting, with a focus on research, data gathering and credit analysis.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred or equivalent experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication in English.
• Professional qualification such as ACA, CFA, ACCA, or CIMA desirable.
• Quantitative/numerical skills; ability to interpret financial information and build models.
• Credit analysis skills; interpretation of financial statements and accounting principles.
• Proficiency with MS Office and financial modeling tools.
• Team-oriented with ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
• Good command of local language is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Structuring and Execution: contribute to project structuring and execution with financial institutions.
• Perform research and analysis of background materials, market data and financial performance.
• Prepare and update financial models and projections; assess risks.
• Assist with drafting terms of reference and internal approvals for TC projects.
• Communicate with internal units, clients and stakeholders; draft correspondences and presentations.
• Ensure tasks are completed timely and in line with Bank policies and objectives.
• Portfolio Monitoring, Value Creation and Reporting: support monitoring of projects, covenant compliance and reporting.
• Prepare monitoring reports with recommendations for corrective actions.
