Job summary

Quality Personnel seeks a Blast Technician for our Milton Keynes site. The role involves blasting machine parts and tooling to customer specifications, data recording for traceability, and meeting deadlines to satisfy priority orders.

You will work 9am–5pm, Monday to Friday, with rotating morning or afternoon shifts. PPE such as face masks, goggles and clothing will be provided, subject to safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Blasting different machine parts, panels and tooling to customer specification
• Quality checking throughout process to identify and damage/issues with job details such as quantity
• Loading products into different areas and ensuring safe transportation within the production areas
• Recording data and using system to post accurate information to ensure full traceability
• Working to deadlines ensuring priority orders are handled efficiently for the customer
• Maintain and clean equipment
• Work in partership with colleagues to ensure full participation on continuous improvement activities
• Reading data from engineering drawings

Job description

We are recruiting for a Blast Technician to join our cllient based in Milton Keynes

Current hours: 9am-5pm Monday to Friday (however you must be flexible to work rotating morning or afternoon shifts)

This is a possible temporary to permanent opportunity

This job is a key part of the manufacturing process and will involve the following:

• Blasting different machine parts, panels and tooling to customer specification

In this role you will be provided several pieces of PPE such as face mask, goggles and clothing (only apply if ok with wearing this)
