Zusammenfassung

EDAG Engineering UK is seeking a BIW Lead Engineer to drive cross-functional program delivery for BIW and glazing across the vehicle programme. You will own domain ownership and coordinate Design, Vehicle Engineering, Styling and Manufacturing teams.

The role requires a strong background in BIW structures, CAD/PLM (NX/Teamcenter), and leadership of supplier management, BOM and change processes. We offer hybrid working and a supportive environment.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years in automotive engineering with BIW exposure.
• Experience leading BIW components or full upper/underbody programs.
• Proficiency in CAD/PLM tools, preferably NX and Teamcenter.

Aufgaben

• Own domain ownership across BIW and glazing for vehicle programs.
• Provide DFM guidance and manufacturing feasibility support.
• Manage BOM, ECR/ECN changes, validation testing and documentation.
• Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate supplier management and budgeting.
