Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Qualified Social Worker to join the Child in Need (CIN) Team at Birmingham Children's Trust.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated frontline team supporting children and families through assessment, intervention and care planning. You will work closely with children, families and partner agencies to safeguard children, reduce risk and promote positive outcomes.
As a Senior Social Worker, you will be responsible for managing complex cases, providing guidance to colleagues, undertaking assessments and ensuring that interventions are delivered in line with statutory legislation and local procedures.
Key Skills Required:
Previous experience within Child in Need, Child Protection, Duty and Assessment or Children's Services teams
Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and statutory social work practice
Experience undertaking assessments, preparing reports and managing complex cases
Excellent communication, analytical and report-writing skills
Strong multi-agency partnership working abilities
Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment
Social Work England registration required
Essential Requirements:
Social Work qualification - Degree or equivalent
Registered with Social Work England
Previous experience within Children's Services
Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and child-centred practice
