Toppesfield Limited is hiring experienced Machine Lay Surfacing Gangs and Asphalt Operatives for our Site Operations team in Birmingham. You will deliver asphalt works safely and to a high standard as part of a skilled crew including a Foreman and Plant Operators.

Responsibilities include laying, levelling, and compacting asphalt, operating paving equipment, and meeting daily targets while following SHEQ procedures. Competitive salary and career progression await.

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS card.
• Relevant plant operator tickets.
• Full UK driving licence (preferred).
• Proven experience in asphalt surfacing.
• Strong health and safety awareness.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Delivering machine and hand lay surfacing across a variety of projects.
• Laying, levelling and compacting asphalt materials.
• Operating paving and compacting equipment safely and effectively.
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and quality.
• Working to daily programmes and production targets.
• Following Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) procedures.
