Job summary

MMS, a leading data-focused clinical research organization in Manchester, is seeking a Biostatistics leader to partner with the Director of Biostatistics to manage programs and client submissions. You will provide day-to-day technical and operational leadership to project teams and mentor Biostatisticians.

You will lead statistical and programming activities, ensure sound methodologies in study design, sample size estimation, analysis planning, and reporting, and author SAPs and CSRs.

Qualifications

• A Ph.D. degree in statistical science, mathematical analysis or related fields with at least 5 year’s relevant experience.
• Significant contribution, outstanding and sustained performance may be used in lieu of the requirement on the number of years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Manage clinical trial programs/projects and submissions with day-to-day technical and operational leadership.
• Coach, mentor Biostatisticians assigned to the programs/projects.
• Lead statistical and programming teams and interact with clients and internal project leaders to plan and implement project plans and deliver quality deliverables.
• Ensure sound statistical methodologies in study design, sample size estimation, statistical analysis planning, data handling, modeling and reporting.
• Write SAPs, Statistical Reports, and CSR sections; peer-review SAPs and other documents.
