Job summary

Severn Trent Plc is seeking a Bioresources Process Scientist to join a high-performing technical team across six sites in the north-west region. You will help maintain and improve sludge treatment processes, optimise biosolids quality, and support regulatory compliance through data analysis and stakeholder collaboration.

You will monitor performance, drive efficiency projects, and contribute to commissioning of new plants while working with the Capital Delivery Team to ensure smooth integration

Qualifications

• Experience with sludge treatment processes and data analysis.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to travel across the Severn Trent region.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead process investigations to identify and resolve non-compliance issues.
• Monitor sludge sampling and data analysis to improve efficiency and reduce emissions.
• Provide technical input during commissioning of new plants and integrate new schemes.
