Job summary

YTL UK is seeking a hands-on Bioresources operator in Trowbridge to join a forward-thinking team. You will monitor and optimise processes, perform routine maintenance, and contribute ideas to improve efficiency while upholding health and safety standards.

The role involves shifts, weekend work, and standby duties; a full UK manual driving licence is required and training will be provided to develop your skills within a diverse group.

The position offers an opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking team working with a variety of equipment, assets and processes. Youwill have the opportunity to embrace curiosity and develop new skills outside of your normal day-to-dayactivities.

What you'll do

Every day is different. You will be working in all weather conditions, carrying out a range of tasks, to ensure the essential functions of our Bioresource treatment centre.

Your day-to-day will include:

• monitoring and optimising process performance both in the field and using SCADA systems
• performing routine maintenance and carrying out general site activities as required to keep operations running smoothly
• looking for ways to improve day‑to‑day performance and efficiency, raising ideas with the team
• keeping the site tidy and well‑organised
• communicating daily with wider teams
• ensuring full compliance with company policies, processes, and procedures
• promoting and upholding the health, safety, and welfare of all colleagues, visitors, the public, and yourself at all times.

You will work an 8-hour day shift pattern of three days on, two days off, five days on, two days off, seven days on, two days off, you will also be entitled to a 10% shift bonus.

Your working hours will include weekends, regularly performing standby duties and providing emergency cover, if required.

What you'll need

Youdon't need a background in the water industry, and we welcome applications from candidates outside of the sector, bringing fresh perspectives and ideas.
