Job summary

YTL UK is seeking two proactive Design Coordination Engineers to join the Bioresources delivery team in Bristol, Trowbridge and Dorset. You will support the development of projects to enhance existing and implement new process plants across regional sites.

You will coordinate design information with Project Managers and multidisciplinary teams, ensuring technical robustness and delivery to programme. Strong NEC contract understanding and effective communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating engineering design within wastewater treatment, utilities, infrastructure or bioresources projects.
• Strong understanding of NEC or similar contract frameworks.
• Excellent communication with multidisciplinary teams and ability to interpret drawings/specifications.
• Organised with attention to detail and capable of managing multiple design packages.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all design phases of wastewater/bioresources schemes in line with NEC requirements.
• Provide technical support, suggest improvements, assist in change management and risk.
• Manage design reviews; ensure drawings, surveys and models are accurate and aligned.
• Analyse technical information to support decisions and implementation.
• Manage design deliverables, ensuring safety, quality, programme and cost alignment.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, partners and internal teams.
• Attend site visits and design meetings; capture actions and report progress.
• Ensure CDM, risk assessments, method statements documentation is maintained.
• Ensure environmental/regulatory standards compliance including permitting and wastewater design.
• Present governance updates to senior stakeholders and sponsors.
• Support early-stage feasibility and cost planning for future bioresources programmes.
