Job summary

Worldwide Clinical Trials in the United Kingdom is seeking a Biometrics and PV Business Support Manager to oversee bids, proposals and change orders within the Biometrics and Pharmacovigilance department. You will coordinate SME input, draft budgets and ensure timely responses to RFPs and RFIs.

You will work with Account Directors, operations and vendors to integrate solutions into complete proposals, monitor trends, mentor colleagues and maintain RFI libraries.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ CRO operations experience in Data Management, Biostatistics or PV.
• Bachelor’s Degree required; Life Sciences, Communications, Journalism or Marketing preferred.
• Experience drafting bids/proposals in CRO/pharma outsourcing.
• Knowledge of CRO/Pharmaceutical industry and sales support activities.
• Ability to interact with all levels of management.
• Analytical and mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all active bids and proposals within Biometrics and PV.
• Coordinate, monitor and track all change orders.
• Triage proposals/budgets with SMEs; develop budgets and texts per standards.
• Draft budgets and proposal text for SME-required proposals.
• Respond to RFPs and RFIs; develop bids, proposals, SOWs and supporting materials.
• Collaborate with Account Directors, operations and vendors to integrate solutions.
• Identify trends in proposals that may alter departmental strategy.
• Proofread and ensure readability and consistent tone.
• Meet proposal deadlines with planned information gathering and reviews.
• Provide budget tool and proposal training for Biometrics & PV colleagues.
• Maintain standard proposal/bid slides and the RFI library.
• Other duties as assigned.
