Job summary

iProov is seeking a Biometric Systems Lead to steer the evolution of our biometric platform from research through production. You will report to the VP, Biometric Platform and lead a cross-functional team spanning CV/ML, product, and software engineering in a hybrid London setting.

You will mentor engineers, build roadmaps for long-term biometric needs, and ensure delivery against precision, recall, bias, speed, and cost metrics.

Qualifications

• Extensive ML/Computer Vision experience.
• Proficient in Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow).
• Experience with Docker, OpenCV, scikit-learn and GitHub.
• Ability to lead projects and mentor engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Biometric Systems function from R&D to production.
• Scope work items, set metrics, and drive delivery.
• Mentor the Biometric Systems team and foster cross-functional collaboration.
• Develop a long-term roadmap for biometric platform needs.
