Job summary

The University of Manchester invites applications for a Teaching Associate in the Division of Cell Matrix Biology and Regenerative Medicine. This fixed-term post is for two years and requires a PhD in Biomedical Sciences and prior high-quality teaching experience.

You will deliver tutorials, support year 1–3 practicals, design lectures, contribute to master classes and mark assessments, with a commitment to inclusive teaching and student learning.

Qualifications

• PhD in Biomedical Sciences related subject area.
• Some experience of high-quality teaching or demonstrating in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Deliver small group teaching such as tutorials.
• Support practical teaching such as year 1 and 2 practicals and 3rd year project supervision.
• Design and deliver lectures to support practical classes where required.
• Contribute to lectures for master classes.
• Mark assessments of various types and provide constructive feedback to students.
