Job summary

Integrated Pathology Partnership Limited in Taunton invites applications for the Biomedical Scientist Team Manager role (SYNLAB Pay Band 7). We are the UK’s leading and fastest growing pathology company – a scientific organisation with a clinical purpose.

You will lead a team of Biomedical Scientists and support staff, rotate across Infectious Sciences, and drive quality management and continuous improvement. A £10,000 welcoming bonus applies (subject to terms).

Qualifications

• MSc degree in Biomedical Science with HCPC registration.
• IBMS specialist portfolio in Microbiology/Virology or equivalent.
• ILM level 3 management qualification or equivalent experience.
• IBMS membership is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Biomedical Scientists and support staff.
• Rotate within Infectious Sciences laboratory areas.
• Drive quality management and continuous improvement within laboratory systems.
• Plan and prioritise work allocations, training plans, and CPD.
• Chair committees on Health & Safety, Training or Audit.
• Provide technical leadership and support for clinical trials.
