Biomedical Scientist

Leeds Hospital | Pathology | Bank | Ad hoc
Up to £23 per hour

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.

As a Biomedical Scientist at our hospital, you’ll bring relevant qualifications and laboratory experience in multidisciplinary biomedical science. You have a good working knowledge of different analytical equipment in a range of techniques. You’re also a natural communicator and team player, sharing our commitment to quality.

As a Biomedical Scientist, you will:

• Deliver high-quality pathology services
• Complete your share of covering the out-of-hours on-call service
• Perform biomedical diagnostic testing, interpretation, reporting, and quality control
• Keep records of specimens, results, reagents, and consumables
• Support the validation and assessment of new equipment and diagnostic procedures
• Help ensure we deliver the best experience for patients
