Job Title: Senior Biomedical Scientist – Haematology
Banding:Band 7

Hours: 37.5 a week – weekdays, late nights and weekends
Start Date:ASAP
Rate:£26 – £31

We are seeking an exceptionally skilled and motivated Locum Senior Biomedical Scientist in Haematology to join our esteemed client in Scarborough. Your advanced expertise will be pivotal in ensuring the precision and reliability of test results, which are critical for accurate patient diagnosis and treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting a broad spectrum of haematology tests, maintaining, calibrating, and troubleshooting laboratory equipment, and ensuring strict adherence to all relevant health and safety regulations. You will analyse and interpret complex test results with a high degree of accuracy, maintain meticulous records and documentation, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver superior patient care.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • HCPC registration.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in haematology.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Unwavering attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
