Job summary

Lancaster Girls' Grammar School (LGGS) is recruiting a Biology Technician to provide practical and technical support to the Biology Department. The post holder will prepare equipment, materials, and resources to enable engaging teaching for students aged 11–18 in a selective state school with academy status.

We are looking for a committed candidate with strong organisational skills, a proactive approach and a genuine interest in biology education.

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and organised Biology Technician to join our team. In this vital role, you will provide practical and technical support to the Biology Department, preparing laboratory equipment, materials, and resources that enable engaging and effective teaching and learning. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills and an interest in Biology to make a meaningful contribution to student success.
