Job summary

Lancaster Girls' Grammar School (LGGS) is recruiting a Biology Technician to provide practical and technical support to the Biology Department. The post holder will prepare equipment, materials, and resources to enable engaging teaching for students aged 11–18 in a selective state school with academy status.

We are looking for a committed candidate with strong organisational skills, a proactive approach and a genuine interest in biology education.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting practical Biology lessons.
• Strong organisation and multitasking abilities.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the smooth delivery of practical Biology lessons and activities.
• Prepare laboratory equipment, materials and resources for teaching.
• Assist with arranging resources and maintaining a safe learning environment.
