Job summary

Teaching Personnel is recruiting a passionate Biology Teacher for a friendly secondary school in Lytham St Annes (FY8). Start ASAP on a long-term, full-time basis. You will deliver engaging Biology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential KS5 depending on experience.

Applicants must hold QTS/PGCE or equivalent, have strong classroom management and communication skills, and be committed to high standards of student achievement within a supportive science department.

Qualifications

• QTS, PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Specialism in Biology or relevant science subject.
• Experience teaching Biology at secondary level.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Biology lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
• Assess, monitor and report on student progress.
• Create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
• Differentiate lessons to meet diverse learner needs.
