Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking a Biology Teacher for a welcoming secondary school in Lytham St Annes (FY8), starting ASAP on a long-term, full-time basis.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging Biology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential KS5 depending on experience, within a supportive Science Department that values student achievement.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE required.
• Specialism in Biology or a relevant Science subject.
• Experience teaching Biology at secondary level preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Biology lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Differentiate lessons to meet diverse learners.
