We are seeking a motivated and inspirational Biology Teacher to join our outstanding staff team. This position is open to both experienced teachers and ECTs. In 2024, our department achieved excellent results: GCSE (25 entries): Biology 9-7: 100% and 9-5: 100%; A Level Biology (34 entries): AA: 38%, AB: 68%. St Thomas the Apostle School is a Catholic boys’ school with a co-educational Sixth Form, located in Nunhead, South East London.
Our school was awarded the TES Secondary School of the Year in 2017 and is ranked as the 10th best school in the country based on our Progress 8 score. We pride ourselves on high expectations and a calm learning environment that fosters teaching and learning.
