Qualifications

• Essential: MSc/BSc in life sciences with biopharmaceutical experience.
• Experience in biologics analytical development and product characterisation across modalities.
• Knowledge of MS, peptide mapping and chromatography techniques.
• Credible people-leadership with 3+ years, coaching and team development.
• Experience in method development, qualification, lifecycle management and technology transfer.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Senior Scientists, Scientists and a Scientific Associate, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Unify Separation Sciences and Characterisation teams with clear priorities and shared identity.
• Provide direction in biologics analytical development and characterisation.
• Oversee MS-based characterization and chromatography methods (HPLC/UHPLC, IEX, SEC).
• Guide method development, validation, lifecycle management and QC transfer.
• Engage with clients in meetings, proposals and due diligence.
• Support site expansion of analytical CRO offerings and CAPEX planning.
