Job summary

Oxford Nanopore Technologies is seeking a Technical Product Manager to lead the delivery of bioinformatics workflow software. You will own delivery priorities, coordinate execution, and ensure high-quality releases across the software ecosystem.

You will work with Bioinformatics Workflow Product Managers, Platform teams and scientists to translate requirements into scalable, reliable products, balancing scientific aims with delivery practicality in a fast-paced hybrid environment.

Qualifications

Significant experience in product management or technical product management.
Experience coordinating complex roadmaps across multiple software development teams.
Experience with agile development, backlog management, release planning and software delivery practices.

Responsibilities

Own the delivery planning and execution for the bioinformatics workflow portfolio.
Define and prioritize workflow delivery activities for timely, reliable releases.
Coordinate with product managers, engineering, research and platform teams to translate requirements into deliverable software.
Lead backlog management, sprint planning, release readiness and cross-functional execution.
Monitor delivery metrics, release performance, and operational health to guide prioritization.
Advocate for delivery excellence and best practices across the organization.
