Job summary

Timely Recruit Ltd. is recruiting a Biodiversity Technical Director to lead a specialist ESG advisory practice in London. You will own technical quality, grow the portfolio and build a multidisciplinary team while engaging lenders, developers and DFIs on high‑profile projects.

You will shape biodiversity standards, drive client relationships and pricing, and steer projects with strong commercial accountability in a hybrid London setting.

Qualifications

• Experience applying biodiversity standards to lender assessments.
• Proven ability to lead proposals and win new work.
• Strong track record in managing multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as the firm's senior technical authority on biodiversity, setting standards and assuring quality.
• Lead complex assignments: habitat assessments, Biodiversity Action Plans, offset strategies, and lender due diligence.
• Be the senior point of contact for lenders, developers and DFIs.
• Lead and win proposals, bids and client pitches.
• Build, coach and develop the biodiversity team.
• Own project budgets, risk and commercial performance.
• Travel internationally for site visits of around a week.
