Job summary

QS Recruitment is seeking a Waste Collection Operative to join our team in Caenby Corner, Hemswell Cliff area, supporting services across West Lindsey. This is a physically demanding outdoor role collecting household waste and contributing to a clean, safe community.

You will work Monday to Friday from 7am, with the starting wage of £12.85 per hour and overtime at £19.27 for hours over 37 weekly. A reliable, punctual team player with good fitness is essential.

We’re recruiting Waste Collection Operatives to join our dedicated team in the Caenby Corner, Hemswell Cliff area, supporting services across West Lindsey.

About the Role:

As part of our operations team, you’ll play a vital role in keeping local communities clean and safe by collecting household waste. This is a physically demanding, outdoor role that involves:

• Reporting to the main depot Caenby Corner, Hemswell Cliff
• Manual handling and loading of waste materials
• Working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Walking long distances throughout your shift
• Working closely with colleagues to complete daily collection rounds

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, being outdoors, and contributing to an essential public service.

Hourly Rate: You will have a starting wage of £12.85 per hour. Any hours worked over 37 a week are paid at £19.27.You will accrue up to 28 days holiday per year.Please note we do not offer sponsorship.

Working Hours: You will work Monday to Friday with a start time of 7am.
