Job description

Joining Arup

Arup’s purpose, shared values and collaborative approach has set us apart for over 80 years, guiding how we shape a better world.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and methodical BIM Technician to support BIM and digital delivery within a multi-disciplinary project environment. Based within the Digital team in the Technical Specialist Services portfolio, you will work closely with Arup’s engineering technical specialists, supporting the production, coordination and management of project information across a range of sectors and design stages.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in how information and data management can improve the quality and efficiency of design work and project delivery. You will work primarily in Revit, contributing to model production and coordination, with the opportunity to develop skills in Dynamo, automation and digital workflows over time.

In this learning-oriented role, you will be supported with training and encouraged to build your technical and digital capability. Curiosity, openness and a genuine interest in developing new skills will be key, alongside a methodical approach, commitment to quality and willingness to contribute to complex, collaborative project work.

At Arup, you belong to an extraordinary collective – in which we encourage individuality to thrive. Our strength comes from how we respect, share and connect our diverse experiences, perspectives and ideas.

You will have the opportunity to do socially useful work that has meaning – to Arup, to your career, to our members and to the clients and communities we serve.

Is this role right for you?

We’d like to hear from you if:

  • You hold a qualification in BIM, architecture, architectural technology or a related discipline; experience in a consulting environment would be beneficial.

  • You have foundational Revit knowledge and experience contributing to BIM model production within the built environment, such as building services or a similar setting.

  • You are interested in consistency, information management and data within design workflows, and are curious to develop further in these areas.

  • You are open to learning automation and digital tools such as Dynamo as part of your ongoing development.

  • You bring a structured, detail-oriented approach and can follow standards, processes and BIM workflows consistently.

Visa Sponsorship

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK at the time of application and for the duration of employment. Any offer made will be subject to satisfactory proof of immigration status.
