Job summary

Peaple Talent Ltd is seeking a Building Services Designer in Cardiff to join a growing team. The role suits someone with 0–3 years’ experience who has a solid grounding in AutoCAD and a desire to build a career in building services design, BIM and Revit.

You’ll work on developing 2D/3D AutoCAD drawings, Revit/BIM models for building services, and support mechanical and electrical design while gaining hands-on exposure to live MEP projects. A pathway for training and progression is offered.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years’ experience in building services or related field.
• Solid grounding in AutoCAD and 2D/3D drawing development.
• Interest in pursuing building services design, BIM and Revit.
• Exposure to Revit / Revit MEP is desirable.
• Experience or education within engineering, construction or MEP.
• Good understanding of technical drawings and detailing.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings.
• Develop Revit / BIM models for building services.
• Support mechanical and electrical design activities.
• Assist with MEP coordination and clash detection.
• Update technical drawings, models and design documentation.
• Contribute across projects from initial design to delivery.
