Job Description
Due to increased workload and new client acquisitions, Turner & Townsend seeks a Senior/Principal or a Consultant BIM Manager to join our team.

We lead BIM processes at organizational, program, and project levels through discovery, strategy development, execution planning, implementation, compliance checking, and data verification. The Opportunity
The successful candidate will work alongside a highly skilled team, implementing BIM strategies from planning to project execution for global clients.

Duties
Responsibilities include:

  • Capturing client requirements and developing BIM strategies
  • Authoring BIM documentation and workflows aligned with industry best practices
  • Leading and managing BIM rollout and implementation within client organizations and projects
  • Communicating BIM strategies and workflows to stakeholders
  • Identifying risks and mitigation strategies
  • Interfacing with clients, design teams, and contractors on BIM methodologies
  • Leading and managing teams
  • Facilitating stakeholder meetings and workshops
  • Reviewing project models, performing clash detection, analyzing data, and writing reports
  • Peer reviewing colleagues’ work, supporting project deliverables, and maintaining BIM documentation
  • Contributing to bid proposals, research, and development of emerging technologies
  • Acting as an ambassador for digital services at Turner & Townsend

Qualifications

BIM/Technology/Software Skills

  • Understanding of emerging technology markets supporting clients and delivery
  • Knowledge of standards like BS EN ISO 19650 and UK BIM Framework
  • Familiarity with international BIM standards
  • Knowledge of roles and responsibilities in BIM-enabled projects
  • Experience with BIM documentation, CDEs, and project roles
  • Proficiency with 3D modeling software (Revit, ArchiCAD, etc.)
  • Experience with clash detection tools (Solibri, Navisworks, etc.)
  • Understanding dashboard software (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
  • Curiosity to learn new software skills

Personal Skills

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Effective in diverse teams
  • Skilled in defining and writing BIM strategies and implementation plans
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Strong presentation and workshop facilitation skills
