Job summary

Glanua is seeking a BIM Coordinator to lead multi-discipline 3D model coordination for water and wastewater projects. The role involves developing models in Revit, coordinating with design leads, and ensuring information is aligned with BEP and EIR requirements.

Office-based with occasional site visits, you will manage the CDE, report on clashes, and contribute to a structured digital handover. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• 3rd level qualification in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical or Construction Management or a proven technical background are essential.
• Advanced skills in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Autodesk Revit or Plant 3D, Synchro 4D and Navisworks.
• Experience in MS Excel, Power BI, Dynamo and BIM360 are desired but not essential as training can be provided.
• Must be an enthusiastic, motivated self-starter dedicated to learning and advancing their career in the Digital Engineering space.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential.
• Enjoy working both individually and as part of a multi-discipline team essential.
• Understanding how to communicate potential coordination issues to the design leads is essential.
• Understanding the relevant BIM standards (ISO19650 or previously PAS1192) is desired but not essential.
• Previous experience in coordinating handover documentation is desirable.

Responsibilities

• During the detailed design phase, ensure models are developed in line with the project BEP and Clients' EIR.
• Monitor the development of information through the design stage and into construction, coordinating multi-discipline 3D models.
• Track clashes and communicate the same to the Project design lead through accurate reporting.
• Coordinate digital deliverables to support a complete and structured digital handover, ensuring asset information is captured accurately.
• During construction, maintain constant communication between office and site and ensure site activity is captured on the CDE.
• Update the BIM model with as-built information and collect equipment data for input to model elements.
