Flynn is a first-generation construction company operating across Ireland, UK, and Northern Europe, specializing in critical environments such as data centres, life sciences, aviation, high-value manufacturing, and critical logistics.

We are seeking a talented BIM Lead to work in our high-performance operations department, collaborating with commercial teams, contracts managers, clients, design teams, and project directors. This position is based in London.

Reporting to: BIM Manager

Purpose of Role

Work closely with the BIM Manager to ensure workflows and project deliverables meet standards and client satisfaction. The BIM Lead will be responsible for full project coordination.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Canary Wharf, London.

Role Responsibilities

• Implement BIM execution plans, standards, and protocols to ensure consistency and quality across projects.
• Federate digital information received from Task Teams, prepare clash detection, data verification, and model health check reports, and communicate issues to relevant teams.
• Ensure implementation of project deliverables and coordinate all project elements.
• Chair coordination meetings with all contractors on the project.
• Collaborate with internal and external disciplines.
• Oversee mechanical, electrical, and associated services from subcontractors, including progress reporting.
• Support a team of BIM technicians.
• Liaise with subcontractors and design teams to align objectives.
• Work with the BIM team to develop BIM knowledge across the organization.

The Candidate

• Degree in Building Information Modelling (Level 7/8) or related Engineering/Building Services Degree; MEP background advantageous.
• Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks.
• Experience coordinating Architectural and MEP systems.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in an engineering consultancy or contractor; Data Centre project experience preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO 19650.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
• Understanding of BIM procedures, protocols, and data management software.
• Good knowledge of construction sequencing and onsite works.
• Ability to work under pressure with good judgment, patience, and flexibility.
