Job summary

Peaple Talent Ltd is seeking a BIM / AutoCAD Engineer in Cardiff to develop Revit/BIM models for building services. The role suits someone with 0–3 years’ experience who wants to grow in BIM, Revit and building services design.

You’ll join a growing building services team, working on live projects and gaining exposure to MEP coordination, drafting and delivery from design through to construction.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of experience in the field or related roles.
• Solid grounding in AutoCAD and related drawing standards.
• Ambition to build a career within BIM, Revit and building services design.
• Some exposure to Revit / Revit MEP is a plus.
• Education or experience in engineering, construction or MEP is relevant.

Looking to take your AutoCAD / BIM skills into a role where you can work on real MEP projects and develop your Revit experience?

We’re working with a growing building services team in Cardiff who are looking for a BIM / AutoCAD Engineer to join their team.

This could suit someone with 0–3 years’ experience who has a solid grounding in AutoCAD and wants to build a career within BIM, Revit and building services design.

What you’ll be working on

You’ll be involved in live projects alongside experienced engineers and designers, including:

• Developing Revit / BIM models for building services
• Supporting mechanical and electrical design
• Assisting with MEP coordination and clash detection
• Updating technical drawings, models and documentation
• Working across projects from design through to delivery

What we’re looking for

You don’t need years of experience — we’re interested in people with the right technical foundation and attitude to develop.

You’ll ideally have:

• Some exposure to Revit / Revit MEP
• Experience or education within engineering, construction or MEP
• A good understanding of technical drawings
• An interest in developing within BIM / building services
