Job summary

BAM UK & Ireland is recruiting a BIM Coordinator to support the HS2 Track infrastructure project from either the London or Birmingham office. You will act as SME for CAD/BIM information management, guiding teams and ensuring information is produced, shared, and compliant with project standards.

You will coordinate BIM Execution Plans, support ProjectWise environments, and drive data quality improvements across the supply chain, leveraging tools like Power BI, Navisworks, and Revit.

Qualifications

• Experience in Common Data Environments (CDEs), incl. ProjectWise PWise and iTwin.
• Proficiency with CAD/BIM tools: MicroStation, Revit, OpenRoads, OpenRail, Navisworks.
• Experience validating asset information using AIMS and IFC model validation processes.
• Working knowledge of data transformation, QA, and analysis tools like FME and Power BI.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary design information and resolving issues with Navisworks Manager.
• Understanding BIM standards, digital engineering workflows, and information management best practices.

Responsibilities

• Act as the SME for CAD and BIM information management, providing technical guidance and training to project teams and supply chain partners.
• Ensure digital information is produced, shared, published and assured in line with Rail System Alliance requirements.
• Coordinate Contractor BIM Execution Plans and ensure alignment with RSAs objectives.
• Support information structures, workflows, and ProjectWise environments.
• Develop and promote information management standards, templates, and data requirements across the project.
• Carry out quality assurance checks on CAD and BIM deliverables for accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor information issues with contractors to resolve data quality or compliance concerns.
