Job summary

King and Moffatt is seeking a BIM Coordinator to join its M&E, building services team in Edinburgh. You will coordinate multi-discipline MEP models, manage clash detection, and produce buildable models and drawings for major projects.

The role requires solid Revit MEP and Navisworks experience, knowledge of BIM standards (ISO 19650) and CDEs, and strong communication to support design and delivery teams throughout project execution.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years’ experience as BIM Coordinator/Technician in M&E/building services.
• Strong knowledge of Revit MEP and Navisworks Manage.
• Experience coordinating Mechanical, Electrical, and Public Health services.
• Good understanding of BIM standards including ISO 19650 and CDEs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multi-disciplinary MEP models across major projects.
• Manage clash detection and resolution using Navisworks and Revit.
• Produce coordinated, buildable models and construction drawings.
• Ensure models comply with BEP and ISO 19650 standards.
• Manage digital information within CDEs such as Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360, Procore, or Viewpoint.
• Produce 2D drawings, sections, schedules, and 3D visuals from models.
• Support Design and Project Teams throughout delivery.
• Assist with digital handover and as-built model development.
• Coordinate subcontractor BIM models and integration into master project models.
• Attend coordination meetings, workshops, and project reviews.
• Support prefabrication and off-site opportunities through accurate coordination.
