Job summary

Ridge seeks a BIM Coordinator / Information Manager to lead BIM implementation across a diverse project portfolio. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate digital workflows, support design excellence, and drive efficiency through BIM standards and information management.

In an agile UK office environment you will develop BIM Execution Plans, monitor model quality, run clash detection, manage federated datasets, mentor colleagues, and push innovation in digital construction

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a BIM Coordinator or Information Manager role within the AEC industry.
• Strong proficiency in BIM tools and standards, including ISO 19650.
• Experience managing federated models, clash detection, and data validation.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the coordination and implementation of BIM processes across multidisciplinary project teams.
• Develop, manage, and maintain project-specific BIM Execution Plans and ensure compliance with client and industry standards.
• Support design teams in the use of digital tools and workflows, providing guidance and troubleshooting where necessary.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely delivery of coordinated models and data.
• Monitor and audit model quality, clash detection, and data integrity throughout project lifecycles.
• Drive innovation in digital engineering by identifying opportunities to improve workflows and adopt emerging technologies.
• Provide training and mentoring to team members to enhance BIM capability and understanding.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure BIM deliverables meet expectations and contractual requirements.
