Your new role
In joining the company's design team as a BIM Coordinator, you'll play a key role in supporting delivery across all stages of various project's lifecycles, working closely with various stakeholders and teams. You'll support the implementation and upkeep of BIM Documentation, workflows and protocols across diverse typologies and for a range of clients. You'll utilise Revit for creating and managing digital models, including clash detection and data validation. You'll be part of the team managing COBie data exports and federations for construction projects, conducting model audits (in line with ISO 19650 requirements) and preparing/editing resulting documentation. You'll lead and participate in coordination and audit meetings, ensuring both upskilling and awareness across internal/external teams.
What you'll need to succeed
You'll have a Construction Design or Architectural Engineering / Technical Design related qualification (HND as a minimum, Degree preferred), with an additional MSc in Building Information Modelling & Project Management as a desirable criterion. You should also have 2-3 years' experience working within the construction industry, with preference given to design or BIM-related roles (including placement year).
Additional skills
You should be a confident communicator, unafraid to deal with clients, subcontractors and site teams. Possess strong IT skills and experience with a broad range of software beyond Revit/BIM. Excellent analytical, decision-making, and organizational skills are essential, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. A valid UK driving licence is required.
