Job summary

Peaple Talent is seeking a BIM / AutoCAD Engineer to join a growing building services / MEP team in Cardiff. You will deliver 2D/3D drawings, BIM models and MEP layouts on live projects.

The role offers hands‑on project exposure, training in BIM / Revit and clear progression opportunities within a practical, collaborative team in Cardiff.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years’ experience in BIM, CAD or building services.
• Good AutoCAD skills.
• Revit / Revit MEP experience desirable.
• Engineering, construction or MEP background preferred.
• Strong understanding of technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Produce and update AutoCAD drawings.
• Develop Revit / BIM models for building services.
• Support mechanical and electrical design.

The Role

We’re looking for a BIM / AutoCAD Engineer to join a growing building services / MEP team in Cardiff.

You’ll work alongside engineers and designers on live projects, producing 2D/3D drawings, BIM models and MEP layouts, with plenty of opportunity to develop your skills across the full project lifecycle.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Producing and updating AutoCAD drawings
• Developing Revit / BIM models for building services
• Supporting mechanical and electrical design
• Assisting with MEP coordination and clash detection
• Working with engineers and designers on live construction projects
• Updating drawings, models and technical documentation

What We’re Looking For

• 0-3 years’ experience in BIM, CAD or building services
• Good AutoCAD skills
• Revit / Revit MEP experience is highly desirable
• Engineering, construction or MEP background preferredGood understanding of technical drawings
• Keen to learn and progress within building services
