Job summary

First Military Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Bid Writer in Swindon to produce compelling responses for PQQs and tenders. The role supports bid managers, coordinates content with subject matter experts, and ensures high-standard documentation and timely submissions.

The successful candidate will manage content, edit submissions, and create clear graphics to enhance proposals while maintaining strong adherence to work-winning processes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in bid writing, proposal management, marketing communications, or a similar work-winning environment.

Responsibilities

• Produce written responses for PQQs and Tenders including unique responses, references, case studies and CVs.
• Support the Head of Bid Management and Bid Managers in PQQ and Tender responses.
• Ensure compliance with Work Winning processes and manage bid-related information.
• Support briefings, kick-off and progress meetings.
• Edit and proofread tender documents to a high standard and coordinate finalisation of documents.
• Prepare graphics such as flow charts, diagrams and organisation charts for submissions.
• Assist with content development and responses with subject matter experts.
• Provide progress feedback to Bid Management teams.
• Contribute to timely publication and client submission.
• Maintain the Document Management System for future review or scrutiny.
• Re-work existing pre-written content and assist Knowledge Management.
• Work to deadlines in a highly pressured environment.
